Today we had a talk by a woman called Ali Lomas. She was born in Burton upon Trent. In 2009 she went to Loughborough University of Art and Design. She took an interest in photography in her second year of study. She is working as a freelance photographer at the moment.
She has a passion for portraitures and fashion. Her work has been described as unique and distinctive, and that they are a cross between fine art and fashion photography. Her work has been shown in places such as The National Portrait Gallery.
I’m not keen on her style of photography, when I look at her work I see that a lot of them can look alike. I think that also sometimes you can easily see that these pictures are planned and that the models are bad actors. Her pictures seem to just involve ladies with no many clothes on.
